There were a lot of chess moves by the ruling class over the weekend. While Americans were busy taking sides during the mainstream media’s Donald Trump “assassination attempt” narrative, Ukraine and Russia both made moves that could ensure this war goes global.

Russia’s Defense Ministry (MOD) said that it shot down three Ukrainian jets. Kyiv’s rulers have lost two Soviet-era Su-27s and a Su-29, according to a report by RT. But that isn’t all.

During the same period, the Russian air defenses also intercepted a US-made HIMARS rocket, four French-made Hammer guided bombs, and 55 drones, it added.

Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces lost more than 2,200 troops along the front line and dozens of units of various equipment, including several US-made M777 towed artillery pieces and British L-119 howitzers. –RT

Ukraine had received fewer than a dozen of the US-designed jets by early August and lost its first F-16 during its maiden combat deployment at the end of the same month. The Western-supplied warplane went down during a Russian missile and drone attack on targets in Kiev, killing one of the country’s most experienced pilots, Aleksey ‘Moonfish’ Mes.

These losses are almost certainly going to propel the West toward more direct involvement, such as expanding the allowance for Ukraine to use long-range missiles to strike deep into Russian territory. It will not be much longer before Russia’s last red line is crossed. Will it still hold back and consider NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) proxies at that point?

Ukraine has also recently clarified that it has no intention of offering a ceasefire agreement to Moscow. The “front line” will continue to see war, death, destruction, and fighting, according to the ruler of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, contrary to what the German tabloid Bild reported. A communications advisor named Dmitry Litvin told the Ukrainian ruler that the West should continue to support Kiev in its “plan” to keep the war ongoing. Litvin also stressed the importance of United States support for Kyiv’s “victory plan,” as its success very much depends on Washington’s generosity.

Zelensky also stated over the weekend that Trump’s plans to end the conflict are “not real.” Trump has repeatedly claimed that if he returns to the White House, he would secure a peace deal between Moscow and Kiev “within 24 hours.”  Zelensky dismissed the statement calling it typical election rhetoric that is unlikely to materialize.

“Just get it done. All right. Negotiate a deal,” he said during last week’s presidential debate with his Democratic rival, Vice President Kamala Harris. Harris retorted that Trump was planning to “just give up” on Ukraine, and went on to list her own efforts to secure military support for Kiev.

How ironic. The former right-leaning warmongers are vowing to end wars, while the left, who tried to tout themselves as “peaceful” intend to continue will the war. This is why elections don’t matter, and a ruler is still a ruler. We need to all wake up to this horrifying scam these rulers have convinced us of. Government is slavery. Choosing a new master doesn’t change that, and that’s even if we have a say. If we did, they wouldn’t “allow” the slave class to vote anyway.
