The President Who Pardoned His Own Son Calls For Constitutional Amendment Ending Presidential Immunity

Just days before abdicating the throne, Joe Biden, who pardoned his own son Hunter Biden of crimes, has called for a constitutional amendment that would end presidential immunity. A Supreme Court ruling has granted presidential immunity for those who commit “official acts” as president of the United States.

In his final address from the Oval Office, former President Joe Biden called for a constitutional amendment that will ensure that no president is immune from prosecution for crimes committed while in office, according to a report by The New York Post.

The remarks, delivered just days before President Donald Trump’s inauguration, are being interpreted as a parting shot at his successor, who has repeatedly invoked presidential immunity to fend off legal challenges.

Hunter Biden Pardoning Sets A New Precedent

The outgoing president’s call for reform comes in the wake of a controversial Supreme Court ruling last July, which granted the president of the United States broad immunity for “official acts” performed in office. The decision was hailed as a significant victory for conservatives and for Trump himself, who has been arguing in his legal battles that he should not be prosecuted for actions he undertook as president. -Natural News

This is decisively hypocritical, considering Joe Biden pardoned his own son of hellacious crimes.

This is just more evidence that politics are only for those who rule. People are currently sitting in prison cells for victimless crimes all over this country and Hunter Biden is the ruling class’s first priority because he’s the head tyrant’s son. Noting says the government is slavery more than this. The only good thing about this situation is that more human beings are going to see the government for what it truly is and stop propping up the system the elevates some while oppressing others. –SHTFPlan

Biden’s proposal to amend the Constitution is going to face some incredible obstacles, according to a report by MSN. The process of passing a constitutional amendment is notoriously difficult due to its need for the approval of the vast majority of elected federal and state representatives. Biden will need a two-thirds vote from both the House and the Senate in order to proceed.

Last year, a Manhattan judge sentenced Trump to no penalty in his “hush money” case. Trump would avoid jail time or fines as he prepared to reclaim the presidency, of which he was successful. This has set a new precedent about the immunity of those in positions of power, and as expected, the left wants Trump taken down by the law that gives him immunity, while the right wants the same for all democrats.

The real question is, should anyone, regardless of station in the hierarchy of power, get a pass on morality?
