The Trump administration is planning a new strategy for fighting bird flu. Its policy will prioritize vaccinations and tighter biosecurity instead of killing off millions of chickens when the disease strikes a flock.

According to a report by The Associated Press, the federal government will seek “better ways, with biosecurity and medication and so on” rather than the current standard practice of destroying all the birds on a farm when a single infection is detected, Kevin Hassett, director of the National Economic Council, said Sunday on the CBS program “Face the Nation.”

Most have come to understand that killing entire flocks of birds because one PCR test shows a positive result for bird flu is cruel. PCR (polymerase chain reaction) tests have been inaccurate and were never designed to be diagnostic tools in the first place.

Use Of Unreliable PCR Tests Causes Culling Of Poultry

Typically, when chickens or turkeys start dying from the disease, officials in the ruling class will “depopulate” or destroy all the birds on the farm to prevent it from spreading.

This culling has had a devastating effect on egg prices and the food supply chain. The U.S. has been culling millions of chickens per month, causing egg shortages that have led some retailers to ration sales. The average price of a dozen Grade A eggs in U.S. cities hit $4.95 in January, and the United States Department of Agriculture predicts it will soar another 20% this year.

Hassett said that the new policy would involve a “better, smarter perimeter” around poultry farms. He said it doesn’t make sense to kill all the chickens inside that perimeter when the disease is being spread by wild ducks and geese.

Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins told Fox and Friends that her first briefing after being sworn in was on bird flu and that the ruling class is looking for a solution to the skyrocketing egg prices. “We are looking at every possible scenario to ensure that we are doing everything we can in a safe, secure manner and also to ensure that Americans have the food that they need,” Rollins said.

This entire outbreak, centered on the poultry meat, egg, and dairy industry, is shaping up nicely as a way to reset the entire food system. Since these are real whole foods, not created in a lab, they will continue to be demonized.

The Overhyped Threat of a Human Bird Flu Pandemic is a Hoax to “Reset” Our Food System

Not culling birds is a good start. However, we should keep an eye on the “medications” that will be administered to our food. What do you think? Will this help stave off the rise in egg prices? Let us know!
