Jim Rogers discusses the Asian Century on June 11, 2009.

I’d call it the Asian century, specifically. If you look at the creditor nations in the world they’re all in Asia now – China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong – the money is in Asia now. Throughout history you rarely see people say you see those debtors over there, let’s go to where the debtors are. They always go where the money is.

Jim Rogers is referring to what Martin Armstrong calls capital concentration. Capital concentration is what causes bubble booms, and the shifting of capital concentration causes busts. What we will experience in the USA and probably Europe over the next 10 years is a bust resulting in the destruction of capital and the shifting of whatever capital is left to Asia. Go where the money is and you will find the next bubble boom.

I’m sure in 30 years we’ll look back and there will be some people in America that made great fortunes during this period.

But, if you’re looking to be where the wind is at your back, the wind is at your back in Asia as far as I am concerned.
